Day 1 - 2: Kochi
Arrive into Kochi and be met and transferred to a Hotel. Rich in both Dutch and Portuguese history, enjoy two days discovering this beautiful seaside city.
Day 3: Kochi to Munnar
Embark on the next part of this amazing journey heading on to Munnar. Take in the scenic beauty of its surrounds and marvelous waterfalls. Take some leisure time to roam the local area. Go boating in the afternoon and enjoy an overnight hotel stay.
Day 4: Munnar - Anamudi - Munnar
The adventure continues with a day to tour the local Munnar tea estates, Anamudi the highest peak in Kerala and the Eravikulam National Park. Afterwards enjoy another overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 5: Munnar - Periyar
Set off on the next chapter of this adventure traveling on to Periyar with a side stop at Idukki Dam. On arrival check in at hotel and enjoy some leisure visiting the local attractions including the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.
Day 6: Periyar
Enjoy another exciting day and night in Periyar. Begin the morning with a boat ride along Periyar Lake and Wildlife Sanctuary. Visit the local spice plantations where an array of spices can be found including cinnamon, cardamom and pepper.
Day 7: Periyar - Kumarakom
Embark on the next part of this adventure traveling through to the village of Kumarakom and visit the local bird sanctuary. Proceed to the Vembanand Lake and arrive at traditional houseboat accommodation for an overnight stay. Spend the day on a leisurely backwater cruise along the lake and enjoy a traditional South Indian meal on the Houseboat.
Day 8: Alleppey
Enjoy the next part of this adventure disembarking in Alleppey. Enjoy a day at leisure amongst the local villages and enjoy the local culture. Take time to experience a traditional Ayurvedic massage.
Day 9: Kochi
Today will take the journey back to Kochi. Enjoy a day of leisure time, and in the evening enjoy an authentic Kathakali Dance Presentation. Overnight hotel in Kochi.
Day 10: Kochi
The final day of this wonderful South India Adventure will end after visiting some local attractions including the Shiva Temple before transferring on to an onward destination.
